Either I’m starting to respect Noni, or I’m starting to fear her. Was it a prison during her master’ time, and if so, is that where Momo came to be? On that note, is that bunny-thing what Noni used to be? Also, did ‘The Master” have the same Lawyer as our heroes, and did he get sentenced to this eternal torment by the same Judge? Minus the questions, the door adds a sense of both mystery, and danger to our Mysterious Host. Learning a bit about the Castle helps to set the mood, and give night terrors. That bunny-thing is cute too. Knowing this comic, it’s either mutated right now, or it’s one of the experiments. As to the true origin of Pokemon, Noni’s Master doesn’t seem like the type to overly tolerate Cute and Fuzzy… Unless it’s cooking for him. Sorry my comment was so long, I had a lot on my mind.
Differance between living undeath and being dead I would suppose. Maybe dying once was hard enough, and this time he won’t get another chance at “life”?
Noni: “Inmates started disappearing, and they weren’t escaping.”
Amanita: “Gee, I can’t imagine why they shut him down.”
Noni: “Actually they increased his compensation for keeping the prison population in check. But he was forced to have a change of heart.”
Pepper: “Was THAT what shut him down?”
Noni: “No, it was doctor’s orders. By ‘change of heart’ I mean he had a heart transplant. Never mind the fact that the prisoner was still using it at the time. But he needed to take it easy after the surgery…humans are so hard to subdue.”
Alternatively…
Noni: “Inmates started disappearing, and they weren’t escaping. It seemed that hiring David Copperfield as a prison guard turned out to be a very bad idea…”

Once used as a prison? Isn’t it still a prison as they all being kept there against their will?
They’ll be under house arrest. The castle does have a prison area in the back which hasn’t been seen yet, and hasn’t been used in decades.
Think she was refering to it being a prison for human inmates.
As to “the true origin of Pokemon”. Yes, yes indeed.
Now why would Bo fear of death?

Hmmm … is Noni a result of their master’s experiments?
that door kinda reminds me of the x-men movie
It’s the secret lair of the Red Hot Chili Peppers! No-one may enter without stripping down to their undergarments first!
Okay, first time reader going throught the archives …
But, that looks just like Emperor Palpatine got a new job.
…^.^…
