well, luke’s a vampire, and a violent one. so i bet many fellas tried to stake him in the past, and as he stated in front of solanum, he doesn’t like having business with beings with bigger fangs than his. so when he perceived a presence behind the door, he got annoyed, but when he saw it was just toadie, an apparently unharmful kid, he just relaxed a bit, but that doesn’t mean he will pet him,pretty the opposite
