Ch3 P22 – The Storage Room
Amanita’s knowledge of mythology is apparently limited to movies and other pop culture. Random factoid: The Kraken is from Norse Mythology, not Greek. *nerd alert*

but how can posidon release the kraken if it’s not greek?
ouchhhhh
I see several rats or mice (5?)
That flea joke is baaaad … I’m curious about Pepper’s payback.
I knew someone like that once- his specialty was offhand insults, followed by “No offense, though”. Eventually one of our mutual friends got annoyed enough to bash him into unconsciousness. Seems like he took offense.
Bedbugs are the least of your worries. Though at least we know where Toadie got the rat.
Huh, never knew that the Kraken wasn’t part of greek mythology. Does sound out of place come to think of it.
It’s from Norse mythology. A giant sea monster, usually depicted as a GIANT giant squid/octopus thing. As I recall, it was so large that it had trees growing on its back and was often mistaken for an island. The whole Posiedon thing comes from the movie “Clash of the Titans”.
Just make sure to check your furniture for its previous owners, Pepper.
i remember the kraken originally being norse in origin, more like a whale with crab qualities than a squid. when it fell asleep in less deep waters people thought the top of it was an island and built on it.
Pepper: “I do not have fleas! Hey wait a second…this place…this isn’t like that movie, ‘The Cabin In The Woods,’ is it? Where we get attacked by monsters depending on what we pick up?”
The one fellow inmate she gets along with and she insults her with a flea joke?
Ama you are one culturally insensitive Roma-Transylvanian-something lady.
