I had a few people guess that it was filled with weapons. But the new question is “Why?”

Heard of sleeping with a gun under your pillow, but this is a bit much.

Hmm, an interesting life our bat has lived, well unlived for the most part.

He’s a vampire, but he doesn’t need to sleep in a coffin. It was he’s way of smuggling in the weapons. (As well as a convenient place to store some extra clothes.)

I would be lying if I didn’t think of “Desperado” when I decided to fill the coffin with weapons. ;)

Just started reading this comic the other day and this is the first update I’ve been here for. Love the comic. Its clear a lot of work was put into not only the artwork and character design, but also the story itself. Keep up the good work. You’ve earned yourself a faithful follower

For some reason I always got an “Enforcer for a Council/Clan of Ancient Vampires” vibe from Luke.

    I guess I have 2 questions:

    1. Luke does realize that by laying the coffin down he’s wrinkling the suits he has stashed in the inner compartment, right?

    and

    2. What are the sword’s names and lineages? (Cus Luke seems to be old enough to know that a proper sword has both)

      1. Which won’t sit right with his OCD nature.

      2. I have a general idea, but it’s something I’ll flesh out later. (Luke will always be a “blades over guns” kind of professional.)

          Thank you, Oscar Gordon.
But guns can hit outside of blade’s reach, don’t need to rely on physical strength or size, can engage multiple opponents in very short order, do pretty well at penetrating most common interior barriers, and- if you have a friendly armorer or the appropriate skills- can be used to deliver the appropriate bane to targets vulnerable to silver, iron, or other materials.

So the obvious question is “Why does he need swords?” but my immediate question is “What the heck does one man need 3 longswords for?”

It’s a long story, but it all starts with “Once Upon a Time…In Mex–uh, I mean, Transylvania”.

Can I just say that I love what you’re doing with the vampire? Getting a character to just feel right can be really difficult and I think you’re handling all of these characters so well and giving them such solid personalities. I’m really looking forward to seeing where you’ll go with them.
