Noni here reminds me of Tiny Tina from Borderlands 2.
Awww, poor Bo is mourning Lefty D;
I wonder if he knows about his blood, oooh, maybe that’s why he attacked the headquarters because of it? Or some kinda alteration?
I think if he knew about his blood’s side effect on other individuals, he’d say something to try and disuade them from ingesting it.
I think if my blood was a hallucinogen that had the side effect of making the imbiber pregnant with a pack of rabid wolverines, and someone cut my hand off to get a swig… I’d let them find out about the wolverine thing for themselves.
On further thought, I’ll point out that anyone who sucks blood out of a dead guy’s wrist pretty much has it coming, in my book.
Here here! Bo is currently my favorite character (this little incident has knocked Pepper and Noni down to second and third place) and I for one am looking forward to the karmic kick-back that comes with ingesting that blood!
The ‘Holy Nipple Clamps’ comment both shocked me and got me giggling like an idiot. I take it Noni gets raunchy when she gets excited/hyper? I wonder if she’ll come off the high before the other two try the blood, or after, and I dread to see what it’ll do to the other two… Ms Prissy going wild, or the Wolf stuck there due to drugs and alcohol to begin with…
considering where they are & who/what Noni is, she would’ve been more likely to say “UNHOLY” nipple clamps…
Oh god. The laughter. I…. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO EAT BREAKFAST WITH THAT HAPPENING TO ME?! Drawing that last panel had to have been fun. It had to have.
So, three of the cast are quite happy to cut off someone’s hand to get high, I’m kind of disappointed. I’d think at least one of them would realize they had gone too far.
well…they’re not in monster prison for nothing.

Poor Bo. he needs a lot more then just a hug.
Bo needs a supportive person/monster to give him a hand when times get rough…
Bo didn’t just lose a hand…he thought he was going to make friends here and instead he’s discovered it’s just another place he’ll be attacked and used.
It was subtle, but I’m glad it was noticed.
I know, right? I was so sad when they did that to poor Bo. He seems like the only person in this comic who’s inherently good.
It’s incredible how quickly these people have degraded into heartless animals who would butcher someone just for a cheap high. I hope there will be a severe consequence for ingesting zombie blood.
Seeing as Momo’s going through vomiting and headaches to make a class 3 migraine look like a head twinge, I’d say yeah. Besides, any of the character backstory should’ve shown these people weren’t exactly saints (the zombie excepted though).
I honestly did not see the idea of zombies as a drug coming at all when I first started reading the comic.
That pleases me.

Just a little thought folks, what makes a monster? Is it what they are physically, or is it more what their actions show? Bo is not a monster, he’s just a sad individual stuck in a crappy situation that he didn’t choose. The other three however, by their actions are clearly monsters.
I really feel bad for bo, he doesn’t fit in with zombie society, and he clearly doesn’t fit in with monster society. I hope that things work out better for him.
As we say in my D&D sessions (where we regularly adventure with kobolds and trolls), “monster” has nothing to do with taxonomy and everything to do with alignment.
When those three go through what Momo’s feeling right now, they will never go near Bo again.

I hope that bo can glue his hand back on when all is said and done…
I’m sure their mad scientist/host could re-attatch it, but could they get him to care enough to bother? Then again, someone under his employ (Noni) is responsible, therefore he may be obligated to help lest he get more time added to his sentence.
Though I don’t like what they did, I love panel 5 with Noni’s eyes dilating and the little “Meep” noise.
In the panel where Jacklin clubbed that dude with a baseball bat she had shoes but now she just has smoke. How dose that work?
She’ll have shoes sometimes, most likely when she’s standing. But more often she’ll appear misty or smokey-like when moving. Similar to a superhero when flying, but when Jacklyn “flies”, she’ll have the misty look.
I want some zombie payback!
So Zombies aren’t out for human flesh and blood…they’re just perpetually stoned?
