Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

And now for some bad news. It’s looking like I’ll be going from two updates a week to one. I haven’t even started on Thursday’s page yet, and it’s been taking me a week to finish a single page. The reason; my graphics tablet (Bamboo) has been messing up. The pen started to act like my old Intuos2 where it would produce wavy lines on random stokes. Where the Intuos pen had a way to correct this (dials hidden under the pen’s button), the Bamboo pen doesn’t have this option. I tried reinstalling the drivers, and so on, so on, but nothing has worked. While I can still use the tablet, it’s making the process more time-consuming and irritating. Also, the USB port on the side has been faulty since the beginning, and it’s only getting worse. So why not buy a new tablet? Money is the main issue, of course, and I’ve been holding off buying anything new until I could afford a tablet monitor. Though I dream of owning a Cintiq (*gets all dreamy-eyed*), I know I can only afford one of the cheaper alternatives out there. Any purchase I make, however, will be months away. So instead of stopping updates completely, I’m going to trudge along at one update a week. I feel terrible for doing this. And here I’ve been hoping for three updates at some point.
