Page 15 – Queen Bees
While I got along with everyone in my school (for the most part), there were a few fellow students I couldn’t stand, but I never let it show. I preferred to keep my head down, do my work, and go home. With social media and school today, though, all that drama/mess follows students home. And now home is no longer a place to de-stress from a terrible day at school. My youngest sister had to switch schools recently because of bullying and social media. *sigh* I’m over 1,000 miles away now and I feel helpless. Nothing I can do but talk to her on the phone and listen to all the crap going on. High school drama sucks. Not the drama class or drama club, those were the highlights of school for me. I keep reminding her that none of this school-drama bullshit matters after you graduate. College is a completely different experience.
Hmmm, I think the drama that surrounds girls in school was the reason most of my friends were guys. I felt more relaxed around them. I could be myself.
