The last panel was planned to be silhouettes on a white background, then that changed to them fully drawn, running on the sidewalk, still with a white background. But you now see what I ended up with. And that’s how I sabotage myself in to spending more time on a page. :D

This page was supposed to be posted yesterday, but I ran into some computer issues. Mainly with my Wacom drivers, other updates, and Bluetooth problems. Everything seems to be working now. “Yesterday?” some might be asking, “Wasn’t that Friday?” I have been thinking about moving my updates to Fridays with the future hope of a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday update schedule. My current Patreon has a “two pages a week” goal at $500 and a “three pages a week” at $1,000. Lofty goals, but they’re there. So this is me looking head to that possible future.

The Bluetooth issues I mentioned affected my new Tabmate. I had no issue at first, until I tried to get my wireless headphones to work. I can get it paired, but no audio. This led me to purchase a Bluetooth dongle in hopes it would solve my problem. Trials and errors later, the dongle is back in the package and possibly destined for an older laptop of mine that doesn’t have Bluetooth. (It’s a simple laptop I use solely for writing.)

About the Tabmate; I have been looking at remotes to use in place of my keyboard. Using keyboard shortcuts have become second nature to me, yet I get severe wrist pain after ten minutes into drawing. I could’ve probably fixed the issue by adding a keyboard tray under that part of my desk, but that didn’t solve my habit of reaching for a keyboard when drawing on the Surface Pro. Becoming accustom to a remote would let me work at the Cintiq and Surface Pro without keyboard issues. And so far, I’m slowly making the Tabmate my new second nature. I did look at Wacom’s remote, but I wanted to find something less expensive. When I learned about the Tabmate, the only people selling it were resellers on Amazon, and the price was as much as the Wacom remote. Fast forward to a couple of months ago. The Tabmate was now available on Amazon Japan Global. Instead of the $80-$90 on Amazon.com, it was $35 on Amazon Japan. First time ever shopping there, and shipping was only $5. It arrived in less than I week. *happy artist dance*
