Wow-oh-wow, this page took me over 25 hours, and I’m fairly certain I know why. Usually, I block out scenes with plastic models and 3D figures to cut down on figuring out the poses and anatomy structure from scratch. This time, I worked without using them, which left me redrawing many things over and over until I was satisfied with my sketches. Why? I think it’s from where I heard someone talking about 3D becoming a crutch and personal style is lost. And the results? Nearly the same as all my previous pages, and while taking twice as long to finish. 😔 As of now, I’m currently working on page 30. Back to working smarter and not harder. (I also have hand models, which have helped out a lot!)
