Oh, Patreon news! They decided not to go ahead with the fees change. (Blog post) I feel like a lot of damage has already been done by their initial announcement, and even though they reversed their decision, a lot of creators and patrons are wary moving forward. Once bitten, twice shy kind of thing. I’ve had a few drop their support because of the planned change in fees, and I don’t blame them. As a result of this fiasco, I garnered a lot of support through my new Ko-fi. If you happen to follow me on Twitter or Tumblr, you may have seen my Coffee Sketches. I try to draw one a day, and they’re a nice excuse to work on something other than comic pages. I’ve also posted them on my blog here.
