I’ve had the same conversation with my mom about my hair, clothes, and lack of makeup or any desire to be “girlie”. It was a constant battle. She had hoped I would change or “grow out” of it. Even when I was forced to wear makeup and dresses, it felt wrong to me as though was trying to be something I’m not. I’ve always been a tee-shirt, ripped jeans, and combat boots type of person. Then again, there was this Goth phase, but that wasn’t the makeup my mom wanted to see. 💀

EDIT: As for the $250 goal on Patreon, I started adding downloadable chapters to the site. Chapter 1 was added yesterday. I plan to add a new chapter each week.
