Monster Soup

This page was supposed to be more abstract and cartoony with the lore, but I struggled to get the “feel” right, so I scrapped that idea.

When it comes to the origins of werewolves in this universe, I latched onto the whole “dire wolf” idea/myth early on. To my knowledge, I haven’t seen this angle before, but I could be wrong. Though is this the true origin story? 🤔 I also liked the idea that the werewolf curse isn’t that a human transforms during a full moon, but rather the wolf’s human facade is stripped away.
