An ear-less Yoda?
Originally, they were supposed to be greeted by an earlier version of Noni, as created by Vengari, yet this part of the script wasn’t fully fleshed out, so things changed as I went on.
But this is what they looked like in my earlier sketches. (The book is “Interdimensional Love Affair.”)
I then drew this lil’ thing, innocently sitting by the fire, and realized I had a chance to draw something I thought was cute.
