Page 8 – Battle Chess
Originally, they were playing chess with mice wearing mind-control devices. But as I was sketching the page, I changed it to a holographic chess game. From there, I made it a game that Noni had a hand in creating, while Vengari did most of the programing. I later found out that “Battle Chess” is a real video game, but I ended up keeping the name. Noni doesn’t know about this other game, and neither did I.

Valentine’s is fast approaching. I’m not sure if there will be an official VDSD this year, but I’m still making an image for the occasion. Though the site hasn’t been updated in years, those of us who have continued to participate have been doing so behind the scenes. Here’s a glimpse at what I have so far. Art Nouveau is inspiration for this year. I hope to finish this image today and return my focus back to the main comic. I’m at the halfway point! :D After that, my focus will go back to BISQUE. *nod-nod*
