Personal news, I have to get some dental work done. With everything else that’s been going on, I’ve pushed it to the backburner. But now the pain is too much. The recommendation is two root canals, and they can only do one of them, while I have to see a specialist for the other. Something about it being too close to the nerve in my jaw. Same thing for my wisdom teeth removal. It also doesn’t help that I have really long roots. They sounded surprised by them when taking my x-rays. And of course, I don’t have dental insurance. I’ve already started thinking about things I can sell to help pay for this. Just the one root canal will be $3,000. I’m giving serious thought to having it removed instead. But I already paid a non-refundable deposit for the root canal. I feel like they’ll try to tell me, “If you really want it removed instead, you’ll lose your deposit.” They already told me before, “We’re in the business of saving teeth, not removing them.” Blah, blah, blargh. Anyway, the appointment is Wednesday and I’m not sure how long all of this will keep me out of commission. Once I heal from this one, I need to get the other things taken care of… but I’m not sure when. Eventually, it all needs to be done… dammit. *sigh*
