Page 15 – Odd Camera
I had this page finished last week before I got the call from my doctor. So, no interruptions in updates thus far. I do have next week’s page finished, as well. Beyond that… I’m still working on pages, but things are in motion for me visiting the oncologist and getting ready for surgery. More details about what’s going on; I have Endometrial Cancer. I’ll be getting a hysterectomy, and from there, depending on how advanced it is, I may have to do chemotherapy and/or other treatments. I still don’t have insurance but I have applied for Medicaid. The thing is, with the pandemic going on, I can’t talk to anyone to speed up the process. I’ll have to wait up to 45 days before I get an interview. My dad didn’t want me to wait and has offered to help with some of the costs. Also, I live on the border of Louisiana (I live on the Texas side), and all of my doctors are in Louisiana. Most of the Texas Medicaid plans don’t cover my doctors, though they do take some, I won’t know which until I can talk to someone. I’m hoping that once I get insurance, I can retro-activate it to cover this costs.

EDIT 4/15/2020: It’s looking like there will not be a page on the 17th. I did have a page finished, but I went back and changed the order of these pages. The pacing felt better this way. So the page that’s supposed to go up this Friday hasn’t even been inked. I also have my first visit with my oncologist tomorrow and I’m nervous and stressing over that. D:
