Page 14 – The Door
I ended up redrawing this wall and door instead of copy/pasting it from Chapter 3, thus negating my current motto, “Work smarter, not harder.”
Graphics card update: I went through everyone’s suggestions as I tried to figure out what was causing the issue. Nothing seemed to work. Then one day, my dog ran out from my desk and bumped it. The card’s fan maxed out and the screens went black. Was this the cause? A loose card? I decided to reseat the card. I also moved the tower back to its original table and off of my desk. (A place that doesn’t get bumped as much as my desk.) So far, the issue hasn’t happened. Was it really that simple?! -_- My theory, things heat up and cool down. Perhaps that expanding and contracting loosened things. *shrug* *fingers crossed*
EDIT: Minutes after I posted this… I got a call from my doctor. I have been having some issues for months now, and I finally got that dreaded diagnosis of cancer. My mind is still coming to terms with all of this. And on top of that, I have to find insurance, which has me frustrated more than the diagnosis. I don’t know what else to say. I’m shell-shocked at the moment. Why in the hell is this happening and why of all times during a pandemic? I’m terrified.
