Page 28 – The House
The more I entertain the idea of switching to b&w for the comic, the more I know I’ll miss playing with coloring effects like in the middle panel.
I have a PureRef file open on my second monitor that has hundreds of manga and b&w inspiration (mainly for inking), and I love all of these images. I have mentioned the fun I had when dabbling in b&w for Chapter 6. It’s somewhat freeing not having to worry about colors. On the other hand, I also love color comics. I’m a solid 50/50 split on this. I also worry about how my comic looks to those with colorblindness. Blah. I’m probably rehashing old commentary here. A rambling, broken record I am.
