Page 31 – The Skull
I would have had this page up sooner if I didn’t spend most of my morning seeing a doctor about my ear. Good news, my ear is healing; bad news, my hearing is around 50%. I do worry about permanent hearing loss, but there’s a good chance it’s only temporary. My sister is also doing much better, though she now has a touch of laryngitis. I joked with her and said, “What a pair we make. You can barely talk and I can barely hear.”
I think I will take next week off to focus on getting well and work on new pages without the stress of a deadline. There’s only 15 pages left in this chapter, and I can see the finish line from here. I’m already looking forward to Chapter 6, and I can’t wait to get started on it. (The chapter will be the first of many character flashbacks.)
