My current process for making pages goes something like this… With the script in hand, I’ll randomly sketch on paper what I see in my head without thinking about panels. Once I have all of these sketches, I’ll take photos of them, dump those onto my computer, and then begin figuring out the panels/layout. (Pics with my phone are sufficient. No need to bust out the high DPI scanner for this job.)

I end up with something like this.

Before and After - Bringing Order to Chaos

I already have Chapter 11 sketched out, with 12 pages already looking like the Before in the sample image above. Verdict? It does feel like I’m able to get things completed faster in this stage of the process. Once I switch over to actually drawing the pages, I’ll start the sketching process for BISQUE. *happy-productive-dance*

Other news: I have been streaming every day on Twitch, but that’s usually my morning Genshin Impact routine (as I have my coffee and breakfast). There’s a streamer event going on that rewards players who’ve signed up, but I’m also using it as a way to get more comfortable with streaming. I still have the itch to do art streams, though when it comes to using a mic, I’m not comfortable with that side of things yet. Mostly it would be a “watch as I doodle and be a fly on the wall” type of thing. After I hit “Publish” on today’s post here, I’ll be starting my Genshin stream. These are boring gaming sessions, so no need to watch them. ;D
