Monster Soup

I wanted to post something this week, even if it’s a simple “Coming Soon” image. The sketching phase of Chapter 13 is halfway complete (traditional sketches on paper), and while I would like to have it finished before layout the pages, I think I have enough to at least begin working on the first half of the chapter. It’s looking like Chapter 13 won’t officially begin posting until November, though, but that’s about average for me. Until then, I also need to work on this year’s Halloween image.

Since I began running ads through ComicAd.net at the start of September, I’ve made a total of $7.27. Is that enough for a value meal at a fast food place? I haven’t eaten fast food in a whike, so things might cost more these days, but I digress. The whole point of ComicAd was to begin advertising my comic, yet I picked my hiatus to begin this ad-race. So until I begin posting again, I’m going to forgo placing my banners on other sites.

Oh, before I forget, with the new month comes new ad incentives for Top Webcomics. I know it’s going to be even more difficult to stay in the top 100 during this downtime, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞
