Strike a pose!

I used a screenshot from Sailor Moon as reference for the last panel. I kept imagining a certain pose in my head, and I remembered, “Sailor Moon!” (It’s mainly the arms.)

Today was colonoscopy day. Nervous was an understatement, but everyone was friendly and understanding. Looking back, it was all a blur this morning. I remember the anesthesiologist had a scrub hat covered in poop emojis. I also remember waking up afterwards and wanting something to drink. They listed off a few options and I picked orange juice, stressing that I didn’t want Sunny Delight, because “It’s not real orange juice.” (There was no Sunny Delight, and I don’t know why my mind was so hung up on it. I love orange juice, though.) I’m glad all of that feels like a dream now, because when I think back, I want to cringe at my loopy banter. Oh, I also remember spilling my cup of ice. Time was all wonky then; minutes felt like seconds. The doctor then came in to discuss her findings. I did have one small polyp, and the time for my next colonoscopy will be decided when the pathology report comes back.

I’m glad that’s over.
