Page 39 – Son of the Dragon
I love any excuse to draw a dragon. :D
This is the first official appearance of Dracula in the story, though I have hinted at him in the past, but those were more obscure in retrospect. Originally, Luke was supposed to be Dracula, yet while I was still figuring out the story, I decided I want them to be separate characters. (With them eventually raising hell side-by-side.) I also want to snap my fingers and get to that part of the story now. *sigh*
Some hints of Dracula appeared in Chapter 7: “The Historian” book in Amanita’s room and a piece of the Order of the Dragon emblem in the attic. But here on the site, those details were nearly unrecognizable. (There are larger versions of the previous chapters on GlobalComix and here on this site.)
